Bitmapped Images vs Vector Images

1.     Bitmapped Images are images that are represented on digitally on a map or grid of
Colored squares (pixels).

2.     Vector Images are made up of different individual, scalable objects, this objects are represented by mathematical equations rather than pixels so they render at the highest quality.

What is Refelection ?

Reflection is the transformation in which the transformation in which you see the mirror image of another.

Properties of reflection
  1. Lateral  inversion – image is laterally inverted
  2. The object and the image are the same size, same shape.
  3. Equidistance (equal distance) of each point in the object and its corresponding point to the mirror line- all the points are the same distances away from the mirror line.

Types of geometric transformation:
1. Translation
2. Rotation

Animation

Animation
is the process of creating motion and shape change illusion by means of the rapid display of a sequence of static images that minimally differ for each other.

Types of Animation:

1.     Traditional Animation- Traditional Animation is also called Cell Animation, it was the process used for animated films of the 20th century. Traditional animated films were photographs of drawing which were first drawn on paper. Movement was created but having each drawing slightly different from the previous one. An example of a traditional animation is Pinocchio (United States, 1940).

2.     Stop Motion Animation- is done by creating physical objects and photographing them one at a time in order to create movement. Famous movies such as King Kong were animated using Stop Motion Animation.

3.     Computer Animation- is the latest kind of technique which includes 2D and 3D animation. With the use of this technique, the animations are created digitally on computers.
